YOUNG IS MODERN! chamber music concert in Cluj,17 apr. 2015
The newest concert from the year-round concert series of the Academia Sighisoara Project will take place in Cluj on the 20th of April at 7pm at the Concert Hall of the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy, in the framework of the 11th Cluj Modern -- International Contemporary Music Festival (18--24 April 2015).
The concert will feature the AdHOC Ensemble (conducted by Matei Pop) who will perform works by young and talented composers from Cluj, Bucharest, Budapest, Bern and Basel. The title of the event YOUNG IS MODERN! refers not only to the age of the composers and performers, but to the repertoire, too. The peculiarity of the concert lies in the uniqueness of the programme: all of the compositions will be either world or Romanian premieres (indicated below as WP and RP respectively), with Alexandru Murariu's award winning (George Enescu International Competition, 2014) work as the closing piece of the evening.
