D’Amico Alessandro
Alessandro D’Amico was born in 1986 in Caracas and began music lessons in 1997 at the local Music School Montalban. Beginning in 2002 Mr. D’Amico began studying with Gerard Caussè and Rainer Schmidt at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid, with Peter Langgartner at the Mozarteum in Salzburg before joining the exclusive „Graduate Course for String Quartets“ in Basel under Walter Levin and Günter Pichler. He graduated in the Musikakademie Basel under the class of Silvia Simionescu. Since 2015 he is member of the Merel quartet, Camerata Variabile and from 2016 from Phoenix Ensemble Basel. 2018 He joined the orchestra Capella Andrea Barca conducted by Sir András Schiff
