Violin and Alexander technique masterclasses in Cluj,Mar 3, 2015
Two of the teachers of Academia Sighisoara are returning to Cluj, Romania in March for an intense work session with the students of Gheorghe Dima Music Academy. Between 9 and 20 March violin and Alexander technique masterclasses and workshops are offered in the framework of Academia Sighisoara for young musicians who want to improve professionally and need for a new perspective regarding their performance and technique.
Adelina Oprean (Basel), Romanian born Swiss violinist will work with the students between 9 and 12 March. She will also perform with pianist and chamber music professor Marta Cîrlejan at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy of Cluj on the 11th of March at 7 pm.
Angela Schwartz (Basel) is returning for the second time to Cluj. After a successful three day masterclass and workshop marathon in April 2014 and a week long working session with the students of Academia Sighisoara 2014, the qualified Alexander technique professor is open to work with students and teachers on individual and group lessons between the 16th and 20th of March. This course is intended as an intensive introduction for newcomers to the Alexander Technique or as a continuation for students who have already attended a course.
Both artists are confirmed to participate at the 2015th Academia Sighisoara (1-14 August, 2015).
