Harabagiu Andrei
Born in Chișinău (R. Moldova) and formed in his native country at “C. Porumbescu” Music Highschool, Andrei Harabagiu continued his musical education at “G. Verdi” Music Conservatory in Milan (Italy) and Basel Music Academy (Switzerland). Between 2007 and 2011 he was a member of the Indaco Quartet (Milan, Italy) with whom he won prizes at international competitions like “Enrica Cremonesi” (Milan) and “Camillo Togni” (Brescia, Italy). He is invited to perform in numerous festivals in Italy like Aosta Classica from Aosta and Tra Lago e Monti from Lecco. Starting from 2011 he is assistant teacher at Basel Music Academy. In 2014 he made his solo debut with Basel Symphony Orchestra playing Rudolf Kelterborn’s Concert for viola and orchestra. Until today Andrei Harabagiu performed in countries like Austria, Germany, UK, Ireland, Sweden, Lithuania.
