Individual Masterclasses

 Numbers of participants per classes: Canto (8), Piano (12), Violin (10), Viola (5),
Cello (5), Harp (4). The places are filled in order of registration.
 Full attendance is required at all these classes (from the 1st to the 10th August).
 Students should indicate 2 music pieces when registering. The students work on
piece N1 in the corresponding master class. Piece N2 is so well prepared that it
could be played at a students’ concert.
 If piano accompaniment is necessary, the piano parts must be sent to Mrs. Eva Aved
by email (evaaved@yahoo.com) no later than June 30, 2020. Piano parts sent after
this date can no longer be considered.
 Registration will be open between March 1, 2019 – April 30, 2020. We reserve the
right to close the registration earlier, if the places are filled before the closing date.
 Age of participants: 15-35 years. If you are outside of this age group, please

Optional Chamber Music

 In addition to the individual master classes, chamber music workshops are also
offered.
 Participation is optional.
 Students who want to take part in a chamber music workshop should indicate this
when registering.
 A flat fee of EUR 80.- is charged for participation in the chamber music workshop.

Boarding place

 Haltrich Boarding House, the rooms have 4 and 6 beds, the WC / showers are on the
floor.
 Separate accommodation according to gender.
 Maximum number of applicants at the Haltrich boarding house: 42. The boarding
place will be filled in order of registration.
 Please, let us know if you prefer another accommodation or are looking for a room of
comfort.

Meals
 Canteen Haltrich: breakfast, lunch and dinner
 Vegetarian meals available
 First meal provided starting from dinner, August 1.

General program

 Arrival / check-in: August 1 (until 3 pm), Haltrich boarding school (Turnului no. 1B)
by the Clock Tower.
 Official opening for students: August 1, 5 pm, City Hall (Museum Square no. 7).
Student orientation, introduction of the teachers, useful information, scheduling. It is
important for all students to attend this event.
 Classes / workshops: August 2-9
 Student concerts: August 7-9
 Check-out: August 10 (by 10 am)

Participants outside Romania

 We recommend flights to Sibiu Airport.
 If desired, we gladly organize the transfer to Sighisoara (fee of Euro 50.- return).
 The arrival and departure times have to be announced by 30 June 2020.
 Health insurance and a valid passport/ identity card are reguired.
