Collin Hansen

Collin Hansen studied at the Eastman School of Music, New York, with Frank Glazer, and with Katarina Nummi in Finland. He received his diploma and master's degree in piano performance from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Following his successful debut as a soloist, he has been a frequent guest on the stages of major festivals and concert venues, as well as making numerous appearances on television and radio. He has concertized in all the Scandinavia countries, Holland, Switzerland, Italy, France, Estonia, Mexico, China, Canada, and USA including Carnegie Hall. At present, Collin Hansen has a tenured position at the Sibelius Academy, and is artistic director of the Viitasaari LuomuLaulu Festival.
