Chifu Ana

Ana Chifu, one of the most active and recognised performers and supporters to promote the classical and new-modern music in Romania, Greece and throughout Europe, Ana Chifu studied flute in Bucharest, in Dortmund and Paris, having won seven international and national awards and prizes. Ana is playing at the the Greek Radio Symphony Orchestra and she is also collaborateing with the Athens Symphony Orchestra as principal flute. Ana played solo concerts with the Orchestre de Flytes Français, the Concerto Orchestra, Lyceum Strings Orchestra and Profil-Sinfonietta, Flex Ensemble. In 2012 Ana earned her doctorate degree from the National University of Music in Bucarest with “summa cum laude”, with athesis about flute music of the 20th and 21st century. Ana was invited to join ARFA (Romanian Association of Women in Art and is now an active member
